ନୂଆଦିଲ୍ଲର: ଏୟାର ମାର୍ଶଲ ଭି.ଆର୍. ଚୌଧାରି ବାୟୁସେନାର ପଶ୍ଚିମ କମାଣ୍ଡ ମୁଖ୍ୟ ଭାବେ ଆଜି ଦାୟିତ୍ବ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରିଛନ୍ତି। ଉତ୍ତର ଭାରତ ସମେତ ଲଦାଖରେ ସୃଷ୍ଟି ହୋଇଥିବା ସ୍ଥିତିକୁ ଦୃଷ୍ଟିରେ ରଖି ଚୌଧାରିଙ୍କୁ ଏହି ଦାୟିତ୍ବ ପ୍ରଦାନ କରାଯାଇଛି। ବାୟୁସେନାର ପଶ୍ଚିମ କମାଣ୍ଡ ମୁଖ୍ୟ ପଦବୀରୁ ଏୟାର ମାର୍ଶଲ ବି. ସୁରେଶଙ୍କ ଅବସର ଗ୍ରହଣ ପରେ ଭି.ଆର୍. ଚୌଧାରି ଏହି ଦାୟିତ୍ବ ବହନ କରିଛନ୍ତି। ନ୍ୟାସନାଲ ଡିଫେନ୍ସ ଏକାଡେମିର ଆଲୁମିନି ଭାବେ ଭି.ଆର. ଚୌଧାରି ୧୯୮୨ରେ ବାୟୁସେନାର ଫାଇଟର ଷ୍ଟ୍ରିମକୁ ଆସିଥିଲେ। ୩୮ ବର୍ଷର ଅଭିଜ୍ଞତା କାଳରେ ସେ ମିଗ୍-୨୧, ମିଗ୍-୨୩, ଏମ୍ଏଫ୍, ମିଗ୍-୨୯, ସୁଖୋଇ-୩୦ ଭଳି ଲଢୁଆ ବିମାନ ଚଳାଇବାର ସୁଯୋଗ ପାଇଛନ୍ତି। ଆକାଶରେ ସେ ୩,୮୦୦ ଘଣ୍ଟା କାଳ ଏଭଳି ଲଢୁଆ ବିମାନ ଉଡ଼େଇବାର ସୁଯୋଗ ପାଇଛନ୍ତି।
